Baseball and Softball Clinics Registration

Fremont REC

February 17, 2023

April showers may bring May flowers but that’s not totally conducive to baseball and softball season. That’s why we’re bringing you baseball and softball clinics indoors, yet in a characteristically unusual spot. The Fred W. Recktenwald Ice Rink! We will begin to melt the ice on Sunday March 19th and have a few weeks to dry things up. The first set of clinics in mid-April through mid-May will be for ages 9-16. It will be offered to those participating in our baseball leagues Elks (9-10), Kiwanis (11-12), Pony (13-15), and 16U softball league. It will not be just limited to league participants, but all players no matter if the play in our Recreation league. We have not forgot about the younger kiddos. We will have a less complex clinic for our Tee-Ballers (4-6), Bantam (6-8), and F.O.P. (8-10) League participants. Those clinics will be mid-May until the beginning of June.

We will not have a Little League this year and in turn will have longer seasons for Elks, Kiwanis, and Pony. More practices, more games, more pitches, more dingers, more FUN! Registration for all leagues and clinics will begin very soon. As always follow us on our Facebook page, Fremont Parks and Recreation, for all of our latest and new updates. Also can’t forget our new website. You will find links for league/clinic registrations, membership info, and other Recreation facts and figures.
